Intake manifold change
« on: February 04, 2014, 09:33:48 PM »
Hello all, I am changing from a stock intake to a 4 barrel intake.  I have read mixed things on classic bronco about whether or not you have to pull the distributor when you change the intake.  Anyone have any advice.  Thanks  John

You will want to pull the distributer in order to set the new intake on. Most people get rid of front and rear gaskets and use silicon and you want it to go straight down so you don't spread the silicon too much. Just remember where the rotor is  pointed and replace the same direction.
