Headliner and Insulation ideas for a half cab
« on: June 16, 2013, 06:52:35 AM »
I need some Headliner and Heat Shield Insulation ideas for a half cab top. This thing sound like a tin can on the inside and I have installed the BC Bronco Air Conditioning unit. I plan on using my Bronco as a daily driver when I finish the build.

I used a layer of peel & Seal and then a sheet of 1/2 foam insulation board and then the stock head liner in my hard top. It made a huge difference in sound deadening and heat.

Does the peel & Seal have any bad smell coming from it on hot days. I have read a lot of stuff on the internet saying the tar that the peel & seal is made with. Will have a burnt tar smell when it get hot.

I think I will be putting the peal & seal in my top when I get to that step. I have been working on my boat.
