I have dealt with a hood rattle since I built my Bronco. Having made my own front inners with stainless I never cut it out for the factory rubber stop so the hood just kind of vibrated a bit. Today I decided to see what I could do.

Went to Wal-Mart and found these in the bicycle section and felt they may be an option.


I felt that 2 per side would be better than one so I used them to replace 2 of the fender bolts, adjusted them with washers to get the fit I wanted.


Best cheap mod I have made yet. Simple and very functional.
I am staying at my cousins house in Perry and I did have a foreman, He approves of this mod!

 How was the ride today? I am headed to Mallory tomorrow if anyone wants to tag along. Can meet in Perry and convoy over if anyone is interested.

Had her out on the Mallory Swamp trails today, Total of about 30 miles and WOW, I really enjoyed riding without all the noise from the hood, Made the day much more enjoyable. Might have even found some NaStY Mud  that may or may not have been washed off at the car wash tonight.
