Wild Horses 1" Body Mount Kit
« on: February 11, 2013, 10:13:19 AM »
I got my Wild Horses 1" Body Mount Kit installed this weekend. For some reason a few of the bolts weren't the right length but I had some bolts that fit so it went on OK. I had to adjust my column shifter and lower my fan shroud but it was no problem. It took my son and I a few hours total. The only mess up we had was the negative battery cable. It was too short and when we jacked up the body the end of the cable pulled off. I just soldered it back on and bolted it up higher on the block. ;D

When I removed my rear bumper I discovered that some sort of rodent had made a nest in my frame rail .:o I vacuumed it out and spayed some frame saver spray in the rails to stop any rust (been wanting to do this for a while).  Should be good to go now. ;)

You know what it looked like before, now it's 1" taller. ;D

It really doesn't look any different.
