Hung my exhaust - Goal was to breathe well and QUIETLY as I want to hunt in this thing and mainly cuz...GONE are the days of loud exhausts for me.
Headers inherited from onset of the project
Heartthrob Dual exhaust kit - manifold version
18" case/22" overall - 2.25 ID offset/2.25 center Arvin muffler - X2
Two Advance flex pipe to tie into collectors...wanted something to use in the interim until I put a more permanent solution in place...will see how they hold up.
Had to buy more clamps and also (2) 8" drop tailpipe hangers as the rubber hangers in the kit were too loose for the rear tailpipe support.

The Muffin view... ::)
I forgot to remove my 'mock up' wires for my pictures

Tight squeeze past that Transfer case plug! used an extra clamp up top to secure the exhaust pipe from rattling on the frame and the transfer case plug...
going to be tricky if I gotta service that t-case in the future.
Will be repositioning my clamps later so they look uniform and probably rotating them upwards to not catch or snag on anything. Who knows, I might try to run over something big.

Turned out nice, can't wait to see how quiet those mufflers are. I need something quieter for mine.
Fire that thing up so we can hear it. ;D

You tube of exhaust...need to redo this as the deflection off the metal walls is more pronounced.

Here are some observations I have now - motor seems to run good, not hot, temps staying around 175, have great air flow through radiator, oil pressure is constant even through warm up but at 20 psi or thereabouts, do have slight lifter chatter but oil is reaching the lifters - was checked with valve covers removed when primed initially - see oiling via oil filler.
Issues:
Do have a considerable oil leak (steady drip on idle) located at the rear main - not sure if it is seal or if it is crank bolts - plus have a slight leak at the block where the oil sending extension tube screws in to the block. This may explain some low oil pressure (20 lbs constant pressure seems like) ...oil pressure concerns me but need to seal this leak to further diagnose an issue.
See pic for leaks...note the puddle in forefront is dark as well as the rear main. it took approximately 5-10 minutes running to create these puddles. Forefront puddle is shows slight stain from the first time I started the truck up.

After watching this video I believe all the lifter noise is on the passenger side...seems quitter on the driver side. I wonder if I have two different style heads???

You better get those casting numbers so we can figure out what you're working with.
