This one looks good but is missing door frames and not sure if it has a top
I'll contact this owner tomorrow and ask about the top and door frames ( they are removable/replaceable in 68?)
Also the axles look wider than stock. Anybody want to buy those wheels/tires?

I really like this one for the money. it has a lot of added aftermarket upgrades

I like this one. Do the fenders look overly flared? like nothing but huge tires would look right . What does a hard top cost? can they be installed on this one?

Currently scheduling to look at a 66 pick up 6 cyl.  (tall stick tranfer cs. w/ 4 low?)
pretty much stock. drum brakes, uncut, rocker panels supposed to be only issue. asking $11G. i'm not going that high, but what is the opinion of the forum members? not just price but the 6cyl/ high stick etc.. all thoughts

The 66s had the taller transfer shifter. It is still the same Dana 20 that the other years have. Unless it's almost perfect I think the price is high. Do you have any pictures?

I have a few text I can send five five 6- 7four7four. its not perfect, im going to look at it in the next couple of days. I would want Disc brakes, a full top and maybe a V-8 down the road, can you think of any issues in those conversions with this mdl/yr? Considering it does in fact turn out to be a nice survivor with minimal body work and we agree on a price (will start at 7k)

If the body is good and it's complete 7k is a good starting point. Disc brakes is an easy upgrade, about $500. Full tops are getting hard to find and can be pricey. The V8 swap isn't too bad of a project but will require welding and the parts can really add up also. By the time you add all this up you may be better off finding one like you want, even if you pay a little more for it.

I passed on the 66 6cyl. its a good example and would like to have it but its more than I want to deal with. Rust through on the hood, tailgate is rusted through floor pans have sheet metal screwed down over the holes.  Door frames are solid runs good, got a heck of a growl for a 6 cyl.
Hubs lock in and the transfer cs. works.
