Bushings or Bushings and Lift
« on: October 07, 2013, 10:17:40 PM »
Nearing the end of the planned mechanical stuff.  Beginning to plan body work.  Have to replace floor pans among other work.  Plan on replacing body bushings as they are "squished" and I have an alignment issue with the driver door.

What I am wondering is whether or not there is a need/benefit to doing a one inch body lift while at it.  I think I am going to be happy with the stance now that the 11 packs have started to settle.  Will be staying with 285/75R16s.  I do have a fan shroud.  Have not had a clearance issue with the current set up.

Parker, Blair, and I all went with the body mounts with the 1" lift built in. I like the quality of this kit/hardware better and the 1" extra space makes a few things easier to get to. I mainly like the extra hood clearance for my air cleaner.

Absolutely get the 1" lift from wildhorses.  You will kick yourself after if you don't.

Thanks for the input.  Sounds like the lift is the way to go.
