Spent a good amount of time on it last weekend.  New brake switch(all lights now working), replaced heater control valve and straightened out hose routing.  Pulled the interior to get a good look at what was waiting for me down the road.  Confirmed the front floor pans are shot.  The center pans are iffy.  The bed was a surprise in that I think it is salvageable.  Treated with Ospho and temporarily patched worst spot and put it back together.  Also installed seat belts to finish making it legal.

It handles pretty well now that most everything has been replaced in the front end.  It was really bad.

Have decided to focus on getting the springs, shocks, etc. finished and then tackle the body work.

Spoke with Rob (Yellow75) today about his old hardtop.  Trying to determine if in the long run it will be easier to just replace the top as opposed to spending the time needed to make mine right.

Will shoot you an email or give you a call to get you to look at it.  I need some input on what springs and shocks to order to get it right.

I have realized this is a marathon and not a sprint.

I'm glad to hear you're making some progress. Getting it road ready and safe first, then doing the body work last is a good plan. That way you will get to enjoy it much sooner. ;D

Give me a call any time and I'll stop by and take a look.
