Great story. I also have a similar story. I have owned several jeeps and broncos in the past. Most recently I had a 79 cj7 that ran great, had new tires and wheels and was ready to go. I then decided that i had to have another early bronco so i hit craigslist. I found one in valdosta that the guy was willing to trade. I drove to valdosta in the jeep and traded for a barely running bronco that needed alot of work. I tried driving it home but only made it half way back to thomasville before engine siezed. the bronco finally made it home on a trailer thanks to gary (justafordguy). I have at several times thought how stupid i was to have traded but now that i have a running bronco (not the same one) I am glad to have made the trade.
The actual bronco i traded for is a 66 u13 (roadster) and is currently still awaiting a rebuild in a buddys yard.
I attached pictures of the jeep and the roadster
