Bad day for FloridaBronco
« on: April 23, 2012, 09:46:46 AM »
I got a message from floridabronco (Bob) this weekend. He took his Bronco to a mud bog over near Madison this weekend and on the way home it caught fire. The damage was bad but it can be saved with a lot of work. I told him to let us know if he needed any help.

Check out the pictures on the TORC web site.

thanks all i am still cleaning it out and evaluating. if the windshield frame isnt distorted i think it will be ok. i am looking at a 1979 460 in a van with 56,000 original miles. also has a good C6. if i rebuild thats the route ill go. i also see a 1979 F250 4x4 for $1300. i could just swap my running gear and tires over to it.... lots of options.

Hey Bob,
Any progress on getting the 79 going again after the fire?

yes for another old Ford lover. guy from Valdosta begged it from me, he restores old Fords. he was ready to paint hood last weekend. also sold the boggers to a mud bogger from  Tallahasee on his way to the Carabelle bogs.

Dang, I hate you didn't end up keeping it. Is he planning on lowering it back down some? Be sure to tell him about BBB.
